This is Scarlett. She is all ready to meet a wonderful family or person that wants a gorgeous, healthy, smaller St. Bernard. She was found as a stray in San Antonio living outside or on the streets for awhile. We found out and took her to us right away. She is between one and two years old and weighs about 70 pounds. She is current on all her vaccines is heartworm negative,microchipped already and spayed.
She does great with other dogs and even smaller dogs. She has the most gentle temperament and LOVES attention. She likes to follow you around the house. We believe she would do very well with kids also based on her personality. Scarlett is not 6 feet tall!. She just looks taller using the background. But she can jump this short fence when she wants human attention. Ha ha. Won’t you consider this special girl?
In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Our Saint Bernards are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. Once the application has been sent please call us to confirm that we have received it. St.Cloud’s Rescue maintains the right to deny applications to anyone for any reason we see fit. St. Cloud Rescue is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization. St. Clouds Rescue requires new owners to purchase a one year supply of heartworm preventative from us, which is at cost. We require a home visit prior to all placements. All our dogs must be microchipped at a cost of $20.00. There is a $350.00 donation fee. All dogs adopted through St Clouds Rescue must be indoors. St. Bernards can not tolerate the Texas heat.
